The Global Expansion of Bando

Bando was founded in 1906, and produced the first cotton power transmission belt manufactured in Japan.

Since then we have succeeded by continually enhancing customer satisfaction through consistent product development. Soon the Bando name became synonymous with first class products and top service throughout Asia.

In 1969, BANDO expanded its network to Europe and America.

In the 1980's, we began strengthening our globalization efforts with the further establishment of international sales and manufacturing facilities.

Today we are represented in 14 countries. These facilities form the foundation for our ability to sell our products on a global scale, as we meet the need of automobile manufacturers and other industrial customers, such as office automation and appliance manufacturers, throughout the world.
The majority of our workforce is employed outside Japan, and we take pride in offering local employment opportunities and growth, as well as making contributions to the communities and countries in which we do business.
